Thiru P.Sengottaiyan is founder and chairman of Maruthi Group of Institutions, under Maruthi Educational Trust. He has been running all the institutions sucessfully for more than 15 years.
Welcome to the Maruthi Institutions. Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions that you will ever make. As you pursue your studies, please remember that a college education is not entirely academic. It extends beyond the classrooms, laboratories and workshops to campus organizations, seminars and meetings, cultural and social activities and athletic events. I hope that you will become involved in MCE campus life and that you will also make some commitment to serving your community. The meaning of the above stanza is "Self evident, nothing comes from nothing and nothing ever could success and achievements are commensurate with power, hard work, grit, resourcefulness and single minded approach."
The day has come when every student should realize that with globalization and the tumultuous changes we see in the International Scenario. Education has a great and specific role. Earlier higher percentage marks in examinations with distinction were the only criteria for top professional job of teaching, now the trends have changed and the students are chosen not just for good marks but more than they are tested for knowledge that they have retained with them.
Hence gathering knowledge, understanding and retaining are more important than studying for exams and getting higher marks.

It's a sheer pleasure to be a witness to fifth year of B.Ed college. We not only boast of the faculty available but also prepare the pupil teachers, with the values of humanity and dicipline. We are constantly endeavoring to produce such individuals as would shoulder all the unforeseen responsibilities of the future. They are well equipped with all the right skills to make useful and independent citizen of the society.

The concept of creative learning is a vital part of modern educational system. Allowing new ideas & innovative thinking requires a more dynamic learning process. Therefore it is essential that the students be allowed to learn newer vistas of learning.
The teacher is not a mere guide in the most conventional system. He is much more than a regular counselor, a value developer & a torch bearer of change.
It is our endeavor in each of our institution to provide dynamic learning process to train, equip and mould the teacher - trainees to cater to the expectations of the modern society. I hope that the teachers will become role models to the future citizens of the country
